Precinct Caucuses

Precinct caucuses will be held Tuesday, Feb 2, 2010, 7 PM to 9 PM.

At the caucuses, DFLers will cast a gubernatorial-preference ballot. They will also debate resolutions that any caucus attendee may introduce or possible inclusion into the Minnesota DFL Party’s platform, elect precinct chairs for the next two years, and select delegates for the upcoming Chisago county convention on February 27 Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The caucuses will begin at 7:00 PM. Gubernatorial-preference balloting will conclude at 8:00 PM. Ballots may only be cast in person; no absentee balloting allowed.

Anyone who will be eligible to vote in Minnesota by November 2, 2010 may vote in the gubernatorial-preference ballot. To participate in all other caucus businesses, the person must be at least 16 years old by November 2,2010.

The DFL (Democratic-Farmer-Labor) party meets separately from the Republican, Independent, Green, or other parties.The following locations are the caucus meeting locations for the DFL voting precincts in Chisago county.
